Auburn Martial Artist Wins Big
TJ Saucier Win 2007 1st Place Honors for Massachusetts in 4 Categories
Auburn, MA March 12, 2008 – TJ Saucier, a Team MAK member, won number 1 in
Massachusetts for 2007 in Karate for Forms, Weapons, Open Forms and Sparring.
TJ, a 10 year old Apprentice Black Belt, won KRANE state honors in ALL divisions
for his age and rank for the entire year of 2007, and was honored at the Annual
KRANE Karate Banquet Saturday evening March 8, 2008.

TJ is a 5th year karate student at McCoy's Action Karate's Auburn school, and
the son of Tim Saucier, a Black belt at the same school. TJ is competing for his
third year as a member of Team MAK, McCoy's Action Karate's tournament team. He
is also a member of Maximum Edge, a profession demonstration team at MAK in
Auburn and Spencer MA.
"Mr. Saucier (TJ) is an amazing student and a fantastic performer with the
Bo, a Okinawan Martial Arts weapon, but he is in love with performance karate."
says Paul McCoy, the owner of McCoy's Action Karate. "He performs well in all
divisions, but his ability to throw trick kicks and his speed in the Open
division is astounding," says McCoy.
TJ competes in Traditional Forms, ancient fixed self defense sets, Open forms,
modern athletic patterns, Weapons, ancient fixed weapon self defense sets and
Sparring, sport karate done against an opponent in protective gear.
