Focus on That …
Concentration can be Taught Auburn, MA October 17, 2007 – There is a free Concentration Workshop for Children being taught in Auburn, Spencer and Sturbridge MA this Saturday October 20, 2007 at 1:30pm. Each child attending, age 6 – 10, will take a specially designed karate class that will first teach them they can focus through distractions, and then teach them how to use that skill at home and at school. At the same time they are learning how to focus, they will also be learning the 3 steps to manage bullies at school. The class will be held at McCoy’s Action Karate Auburn, Spencer and Sturbridge, MA and is open to the public. “We teach this course annually to assist our parents and their children, and have found that we can help a broader range of students if we make it available to the public”, says Anne McCoy, “and we have found that the best way to effect a change in society is one student at a time.” The class is 45 minutes long and can be attended by parents as well as their children, just in case your child would rather have you there.
