McCoy’s Action Karate has developed a method for students and their families
to TRY OUT what we have found to be a unique method of training in Karate.
This method is called our BTC program or Basic Training Course. It offers a full
speed, no holds barred version of our Black Belt Training Program to new
students. During this time they get to evaluate our Teaching Team, our methods,
and their own performance. We feel strongly that our school will get them to
Black Belt like no other school can, and we back that with a Low Cost, Short
Term, Full Featured, Trial Version of our regular program, just so they can be
sure that we are the right school.

warm ups, strengthening and conditioning exercises as our

karate school would ever dream of. Our lesson plans are designed to
insure that our students not only develop physically but that their
self-esteem and confidence increase as they progress. We monitor the
development of the whole student, their hearts, minds and bodies. These are

but we are expert at helping our student overcome this and progress.

levels. We don't just expect this to happen, we plan for it and monitor it.

- Goal setting is a inherent part of all of our programs. We use a system
of belts and monthly progress checks called "Stripe Tests" to build into our
students minds the need for having goals and working toward them.
